JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and any other format supported by your browser can be used.

How many colors can I extract?

You can extract between 4 and 16 colors using the slider.

Will similar colors appear as duplicates?

No, a deduplication algorithm filters out near-identical colors so each swatch is visually distinct.

Can I use the extracted colors directly in CSS?

Yes — click 'Export as CSS Variables' to download a .css file with --color-1, --color-2, etc. ready to use.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.
