Does the image need a transparent background?

No, but without transparency the shadow appears around the entire rectangular image. For a shadow around the subject only, use the Background Remover tool first.

Can I change the shadow color?

Yes. Use the color picker to choose any color. You can create colored glow effects as well as traditional black shadows.

Will the shadow be clipped if it extends beyond the image edge?

No. The canvas is automatically expanded so the shadow is never cut off.

Is the output background transparent?

Yes. The result is saved as a transparent PNG so you can place it over any background.

Can I process multiple images at once?
