What is the difference between Ratio and Uniform mode?

Ratio mode calculates corner radius as a percentage of each side's length — at 50% a rectangle becomes an ellipse. Uniform mode uses the shorter side as the base — at 50% the short edges form perfect semicircles, creating a stadium shape.
